We hope you enjoy this opportunity to read our Book of the Quarter, The Dot, as a family.  This book shares a story of how a young girl comes to realize she has a special talent.  We hope that, like Vashti, our community begins to recognize their own talents and shares them with others. Our theme for this quarter is "Making Your Mark."  As you read, your family can share their love of literacy with each other by talking about their talents and how they share them with each other.  We are encouraging our families to write about their talents or to write a thank you note to someone that helped them develop their talents.  We would like to thank you for taking this opportunity to share not only in your child's education, but also sharing with them your love of literacy.
